Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Albuquerque, NM. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and oversee opening/closing tasks while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining a safe, friendly environment and supporting Store Manager in supervising and developing

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays; ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Keep the sales floor and stockroom well-stocked and organized.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and train/guide store associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and general presentation.
