FirstCash, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment in Memphis. The role combines daily store operations with people leadership, inventory and loan management, and a strong emphasis on customer relations.

You will work with the Store Manager to drive sales and maintain first-rate store standards. The position offers an hourly wage with eligible commission, performance bonuses, and opportunities for career growth within FirstCash’s network.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months+ of management/3rd key experience.
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to supervise others and work with firearms certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and proper procedures.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Drive profitability through communication and goal setting, ensure standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to safeguard loan value.
• Communicate clearly with employees and maintain product knowledge.
