Job summary

DXL Group is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager in the United States, California, San Jose area. The role focuses on delivering unmatched guest experiences through strong customer service, coaching, and sales leadership.

You will guide team members, help meet sales plans, and act as a product knowledge expert across a broad range of men's Big + Tall apparel. Compensation includes hourly pay with commission and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus.
• 1 year of experience in an Assistant Store Manager role.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Previous involvement in a commission oriented environment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest feels welcomed by spending quality time, asking questions to learn needs.
• Assist Store Manager by ensuring the store meets sales plans and monitors service, inventory, expenses, and risk.
• Serve as a product knowledge expert with ability to sell a broad range of apparel.
• Assist with building a superior customer-focused sales team by coaching and training for selling skills and procedures.
