Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Retail to support the General Manager in leading store teams, managing inventory, and driving service standards. You will ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer experiences across shifts.

The role requires managing a 40+ person team, cash handling, and developing staff to meet store goals. A strong candidate communicates well, analyzes data, and maintains confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior management experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Able to communicate in conversational English; operate computer, scanner, printer, etc.; follow safety procedures.
• Proven ability to analyze data and inform policies and procedures.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations.
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and changes communicated to employees.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Handle patient issues and escalations on duty.
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners.
• Assist the General Manager in managing labor budget to meet business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
