Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a hands-on Retail Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-growing cannabis retail operation. You will partner with the GM to coach teams, optimize store performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences daily.

This role emphasizes mentorship, operational training, and leadership development to prepare for broader General Manager responsibilities within a compliant, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in retail management or store leadership.
• Proven ability to coach high‑performing teams and drive sales growth.
• Strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily store operations, scheduling, compliance, and sales execution.
• Serve as acting GM during absences, leading briefings, coaching staff, and maintaining standards.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory controls, and adherence to SOPs and state regulations.
• Drive visual merchandising, in-store promotions, and accurate online/kiosk menus.
• Mentor and develop team members through daily feedback and performance management.
• Collaborate with HR, marketing, and procurement to optimize store performance.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and uphold service excellence.
