Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a Retail Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily store operations alongside the General Manager in Minnesota. This hands-on role prepares you for future GM responsibilities through direct mentorship, operational training, and leadership development.

You will drive store performance, coach high-performing teams, and ensure exceptional customer experiences every day in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily store operations, including scheduling, compliance, and sales execution.
• Serve as acting GM during absences—leading daily briefings, coaching staff, and maintaining operational standards.
• Oversee cash and inventory controls, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with SOPs and state regulations.
• Drive visual merchandising, online/kiosk menu accuracy, and in-store promotions that delight customers.
• Coach and develop team members through daily feedback, performance management, and leadership mentoring.
• Collaborate with HR, marketing, and procurement to optimize store performance.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and uphold service excellence.
