WinCo Foods in Union Gap, WA, is hiring an Asset Protection Specialist responsible for deterring theft, investigating incidents, and helping maintain a safe store environment for customers, vendors, and associates.

You will work 10–12 hour shifts in a 24/7 operation, travel within a defined area, testify when needed, and provide AP training to staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience recognizing shoplifting criteria and responding to incidents.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Documenting work and customer service activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and in a team.
• Willingness to travel daily within defined geographic area.
• State/local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Detects, apprehends and processes shoplifters per policy and law.
• Prepare and submit investigative reports.
• Conduct asset protection and safety program audits.
• Maintain AP office and CCTV equipment and documentation.
• Provide AP training to store staff.
• Travel within geographic area to assigned locations.
• Work with agencies and testify when required.
