Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to detect and deter shoplifting, assist store management, and maintain a safe shopping environment in the Bozeman area.

You will conduct investigations, prepare reports, and collaborate with local authorities while training staff on security best practices. This role requires 10–12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to document work activities and conduct investigations.
• Demonstrates good judgment, initiative and problem-solving in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Detects, apprehends and processes shoplifters in accordance with policies and laws.
• Prepares and submits investigations reports and safety-related documents.
• Maintains asset protection and safety programs across the store.
