Job summary

WinCo Foods, LLC is seeking an Asset Protection professional to oversee detection, apprehension and processing of shoplifters across our stores. You will support store management, maintain a safe shopping environment and de-escalate incidents with professional presence.

You will conduct investigations, prepare reports, and coordinate with local authorities while traveling daily within a defined geographic area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to document work and investigations with accuracy.
• Ability to travel daily within a defined geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Detect, apprehend and process shoplifters per company policy and law.
• De-escalate tense situations with professional presence.
• Prepare and submit investigations and AP reports.
• Maintain asset protection programs and conduct audits.
• Travel daily within a defined geographic area to assigned locations.
• Assist store management and provide AP training to staff.
• Observe and report hazardous workplace incidents.
