Job summary

Lowe’s Asset Protection & Safety Manager role leads store safety, shrink prevention, and loss reduction, while supporting a secure shopping environment.

You will collaborate with store leadership to ensure friendly, professional service and implement safety programs across receiving, shipping, and selling activities. The role requires investigating incidents, coaching staff, and coordinating security measures with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or higher; or High School Diploma with 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, or Asset Protection preferred.
• National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zualski, Reed).
• Professional accreditation (APQ, APC) or equivalent.
• 2 years of supervising employees including coaching and mentoring.
• 2 years as a manager in retail with audits experience.
• Experience analyzing business documents (P&L, reports).
• Experience conducting retail investigations with CCTV/EAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to ensure friendly, professional service.
• Monitor receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for the store.
• Champion safety initiatives, shrink reduction, and security controls.
• Respond to safety incidents and coordinate investigations.
• Oversee safety guidelines and reports; ensure compliance.
