Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking an Asset Protection & Safety Manager to lead safety, security and loss prevention initiatives across a store. You will coach associates, monitor operations, and work with leadership to reduce shrink while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

The role emphasizes incident response, training, and collaboration with store leadership; travel to nearby stores or trainings may be required. Excellent communication and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience (retail or Asset Protection).
• National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training).
• Professional accreditation (e.g., APQ, APC) or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience supervising employees including coaching, mentoring, directing, training, performance management, and recognition.
• 2 years of experience as a Manager in a retail environment with 1 year of experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Experience analyzing business documents (e.g., P&L, exception reports).
• Experience conducting retail investigations with CCTV/EAS involved.

Responsibilities

• Help store leadership ensure friendly, professional, timely service for all customers.
• Monitor receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for the store.
• Champion initiatives and establish controls to improve safety, shrink, and security outcomes.
• Oversee and coordinate loss prevention, safety programs, and security guidelines.
• Respond to incidents to keep customers and staff safe.
• Occasional travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.
