Qualifications

• 1+ years retail work experience/Asset Protection/Security or equivalent leadership experience/education preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience; higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes activities to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious activity and documents evidence.
• Executes investigation routines to identify and resolve theft and documents all stages.
• Conducts external interviews with customers and contractors suspected of theft.
• Reports suspected fraud and policy infractions to AP and store leadership.
• Creates and manages records for apprehensions, statements, and recovered merchandise.
• Collects evidence and may monitor associate activity for investigations.
• Identifies potential theft/fraud by observing activity and reports.
• Investigates suspicious behavior and documents findings.
• Attends court hearings and coordinates with law enforcement; travels to stores as needed.
• Analyzes intelligence on individuals and booster groups involved in theft.
