Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Retail Sales Agronomist for our Brevant Seeds brand serving Northwest, Iowa. You will own retailer relationships, provide product training, and drive demand through team-selling and portfolio planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing and 3–5 years of agronomy and sales experience, with strong selling, negotiation, and influence skills. Travel and field support are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing.
• Minimum 3–5 years of agronomy and sales experience.
• Demonstrated agronomy skillset, selling tactics, negotiation, and influence.
• Understanding of Agronomy and Crop Production practices.
• Knowledge of key Crop Protection product offerings in the territory.
• Ability to build a network of strategic sellers to drive demand.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with retailers and provide product training and support.
• Promote the Brevant Seeds portfolio and drive demand with sellers.
• Collaborate with RBM to align account-level strategy.
• Own seller plans and co-execute with strategic retailers.
• Drive value demonstrations beyond products and sustain demand.
• Execute sales, demand planning, inventory ownership, and plot strategy.
• Lead agronomy meetings and in-field trainings for key retailers.
• Coordinate with Area Product Manager, SBC, customer service, supply, and program teams.
