Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a Retail Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-growing cannabis retail operation. This hands-on leadership role partners with the GM to drive store performance, coach high‑performing teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership roles within fast-paced retail environments.
• Strong coaching and mentorship abilities.
• Detail-oriented with focus on compliance and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support GM in daily store operations, scheduling, compliance and sales execution.
• Act as GM during absences, lead daily briefings and coaching.
• Oversee cash and inventory controls, ensure safety and SOP/state compliance.
• Drive merchandising, menu accuracy, and in-store promotions.
• Coach team members with feedback, performance management, leadership mentoring.
• Collaborate with HR, marketing and procurement to optimize performance.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with service excellence.
