Job summary

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is seeking a ReStore Associate to support our Williston, Milton, and Swanton stores. You will safely process donations, price items, assist with pickups, and help customers while representing the GMHFH mission.

The role requires strong teamwork and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a focus on safety and service. Flexible hours, paid time off, and a 20% discount at our ReStores are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail setting and/or a warehouse.
• Experience handling heavy goods and loading goods for transport (preferred).
• High school diploma (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Unload donated items from donors’ vehicles and assess sellability.
• Provide proper donation documentation and communicate GMHFH’s mission.
• Assist with scheduled pickups and specialty pickups.
• Move items from truck/warehouse to the sales floor.
• Sort, price, and stage donations according to the price guide.
• Maintain inventory standards in coordination with the Supervisor.
• Keep loading dock area clear and safe; back room tidy.
• Keep sales floor presentable, safe and welcoming for customers.
• Greet customers and answer questions to enhance the shopping experience.
• Complete daily opening/closing checklists.
