Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is seeking a part-time Cashier Associate for the Milton ReStore to deliver friendly, accurate service to customers and donors. You will handle transactions, assist with pricing and merchandising, and keep the sales floor tidy and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail setting.
• Cash handling experience or ability to learn.
• Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to greet customers kindly.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions through the point-of-sale system (discounts, coupons, returns, tax exemptions).
• Guarantee integrity and accurate cash handling.
• Ensure movement of merchandise is safe and efficient.
• Keep all areas around the ReStore clean and hazard-free.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and foster a welcoming environment.
• Assist with stocking, pricing changes, and merchandising as needed.
