Job summary

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity seeks a ReStore Supervisor for its Williston store. The role oversees Associates, manages donations, pricing, and checkout, and ensures excellent customer service while advancing the mission.

Responsibilities include organizing product flow, training volunteers, and coordinating with procurement and operations to optimize donation movement and store efficiency.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
• 2+ years in customer service, dispatching, or a customer-facing role (preferred).
• Retail supervisory experience (preferred).
• High school diploma (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Store Leaders to support filling areas of need for new donations.
• Unload donated items from Donor’s vehicles. Approve or deny donations.
• Maintain an inventory of all shipping containers; move and organize product.
• Supervise the donations department. Sort, price, and clean donations and move larger items such as furniture.
• Work with the Procurement Manager to communicate needs in the donation department.
• Train new and existing staff on Donation Lane tasks/responsibilities.
• Use a forklift to move and store clothing bales and perform safety checks when needed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the store and reconcile the cash drawer.
• Promote cooperation between procurement, operations, and ReStore support teams.
• Act as a point of contact for staff and assign tasks to ensure efficiency.
