Job summary

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is hiring a part‑time Cashier Associate at the Milton ReStore. You will handle cashiering, pricing, and merchandising while helping donors and customers have a positive experience.

The role requires reliable cash handling, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment. The position offers a part‑time schedule, a 20% employee discount, and PTO/paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail setting or warehouse.
• Ability to perform light arithmetic and operate a point‑of‑sale system.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions on the POS system, including discounts and tax exemptions.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and register integrity.
• Keep the sales floor safe and well‑stocked, with clear aisles.
• Greet customers and answer questions in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Assist with unloading/donations and price changes as needed.
• Support with stocking, cart retrieval, and merchandising.
