Job summary

Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West is seeking a ReStore Assistant Manager to lead a customer-focused retail and donation operation.

You will support daily store and warehouse activities, manage a team of associates, and ensure donated items are ready for shoppers while advancing Habitat’s mission. You will oversee merchandising, pricing, and inventory reporting, collaborate with the marketing and procurement teams, and ensure safety and excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail/warehouse team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage safety and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail, sales floor, and warehouse operations.
• Supervise 10–12 ReStore associates and coach staff.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator for volunteers.
• Price donated merchandise using market trends and data.
• Ensure safe handling and loading of large items for customers.
• Maintain merchandising displays and track inventory accuracy.
• Open/close ReStore and manage daily register reconciliation.
