Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West is seeking a ReStore Assistant Manager to lead a mission-driven retail and donation operation. You will supervise a team, manage daily store and warehouse tasks, and ensure donated goods are accurately priced and ready for shoppers.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, merchandising, and collaboration with the marketing and procurement teams to support Habitat’s mission.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a retail or donation environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a member-focused approach.
• Ability to price, categorize, and merchandise donated goods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail, sales floor, and warehouse activities for smooth operations.
• Ensure donated items are in good repair and priced for sale.
• Maintain attractive displays and coordinate with marketing for online postings.
• Monitor inventory turnover and advise on markdowns or promotions.
• Open/close the ReStore and assist with loading items into customer vehicles.
• Directly supervise 10–12 associates and lead regular staff meetings.
• Coordinate with volunteers and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold affiliate mission.
