Job summary

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity in Franklin is seeking a ReStore Assistant Manager. This full-time, hourly/non-exempt role supports day-to-day operations, trains employees and volunteers, oversees donation warehouse operations, and handles opening/closing procedures and POS reconciliation.

Responsibilities include assigning staff, supervising the donation warehouse, interviewing candidates, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Prior retail/resale experience with strong customer service.
• Able to lift and maneuver items weighing at least 50 pounds.
• Able to stand or walk most of the day.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assign and supervise Associates and Volunteers to execute core operational roles.
• Open/close operations, cash reconciliation, and deposits.
• Train volunteers on safety and procedures.
• Participate in interviews to build a pipeline of candidates.
• Oversee Donation Warehouse operations and training.
• Complete monthly safety training and ensure safety compliance.
