Job summary

Eastland Sub Acute & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our care team in Montebello, CA. Under supervision, the RNA supports residents with mobility-enhancing exercises, ADLs, and restorative care plans, collaborating with the Therapy Department and Charge Nurse.

The role emphasizes documenting progress, preserving resident dignity, and assisting CNAs under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and CNA program completion.
• One year of CNA experience in a SNF facility and current RNA certificate.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with range of motion exercises to improve or maintain mobility.
• Documents activities of daily living per facility policy.
• Monitors placement of restorative devices/equipment.
• Assists with turning and positioning heavy care residents.
• Performs daily and weekly documentation for residents in the restorative program.
• Participates in and documents residents’ ADLs such as dressing, feeding and personal hygiene.
• Follows the restorative treatment plan and helps residents with day-to-day activities.
• Coaches CNAs in ROM, ADL and safety device use; documents progress for QA audits.
