Job summary

Live Oak Rehabilitation Center in San Gabriel, CA is hiring a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to work with the Therapy Department under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The RNA performs restorative nursing to help residents reach maximum possible mobility and maintains a safe, dignified environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA program completion, one year of CNA experience in SNF, an RNA certificate, and current First Aid/CPR. COVID vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA program.
• One year of CNA experience in a SNF facility and an RNA certificate.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster shots.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with range of motion exercises and mobility activities as ordered to improve or maintain mobility.
• Documents activities of daily living for assigned residents per facility policy and procedure.
• Monitors placement of restorative devices/equipment and ensures proper utilization.
• Provides restorative feeding assistance and supports residents with oral intake as needed.
