Job summary

Bellflower-Post-Acute is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) in Bellflower, CA to work with the Therapy Department under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. You will perform restorative nursing procedures to help residents reach their maximum mobility potential.

The role requires completion of a CNA program, a California CNA and RNA certification, and a valid BLS CPR card. A minimum of one year in SNF RNA is preferred, with ability to follow a 4 days on, 2 days off schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA program.
• At least 1 year of RNA experience in an SNF facility.
• Current California CNA certification in good standing.
• Current California RNA certification.
• Current BLS CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ROM exercises and mobility per physician orders.
• Document activities of daily living and progress notes.
• Monitor placement of restorative devices and ensure proper utilization.
• Turn and position residents and assist with transfers.
• Maintain restorative program documentation and progress summaries.
• Follow the restorative treatment plan and assist with dressing, feeding and bathing.
• Coach CNAs in positioning and ADL tasks; document progress for QA audits.
• Use proper safety precautions and encourage self-care while maintaining good body alignment.
