Job summary

Eastland Sub Acute & Rehabilitation is seeking an RNA to perform restorative nursing in collaboration with the Therapy Department under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The role emphasizes maximizing residents’ mobility, safety, and well-being through ROM, ADL support, and daily documentation.

Responsibilities include coaching CNAs, ensuring proper use of devices, and maintaining detailed restorative notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus CNA program completion.
• One year CNA experience in SNF and an RNA certificate.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including boosters; current First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ROM exercises and mobility activities per physician orders to maintain mobility and independence.
• Document ADLs and progress in resident records and restorative notes.
• Monitor restorative devices and positioning; assist with turning heavy residents.
• Provide daily restorative care, dressing, feeding, hygiene and safe transfer assistance.
• Support CNAs in positioning, ROM, ADL tasks, and safety device use; assist in QA audits.
• Follow restorative treatment plans and document progress; encourage self-care and proper body alignment.
