Job summary
NHS Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nurse (RN) to help residents maintain mobility and independence through restorative nursing programs. You will collaborate with nursing and therapy teams, participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process, and lead restorative care initiatives to support residents’ highest practicable function.
You’ll need an active RN license, experience with elderly or disabled populations in long-term care, and strong leadership and communication
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Experience with elderly or disabled populations in long-term care.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing programs and care planning.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Compassion and patience to improve residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate restorative nursing programs for assigned residents.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to support restorative goals.
- Participate in care planning and MDS/RAI processes.
- Evaluate residents' functional abilities and mobility.
- Refer to therapy services and liaise with therapy staff.
- Monitor progress and adjust restorative plans as needed.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on restorative care.
