Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nurse (RN) to oversee restorative nursing programs for residents in Alabama. You will coordinate care with nursing and therapy teams to maintain mobility and independence, and participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process.

The role requires an active RN license, experience with elderly populations in long-term care, and strong leadership and communication skills.

JOB DETAILS

We are looking for a Restorative Nurse (RN) who is passionate about helping residents regain and maintain their highest level of independence. This role focuses on supporting residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being through restorative nursing programs designed to maintain mobility, strength, and quality of life.

As the Restorative Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating restorative care efforts, collaborating with therapy and nursing teams, and ensuring each resident’s care plan supports their highest practicable level of function.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and oversee restorative nursing programs for assigned residents
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing, therapy teams, and nursing staff to support restorative care goals
• Participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process related to restorative services
• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and identify opportunities to improve mobility and independence
• Initiate therapy referrals and serve as the liaison between therapy services and nursing staff
