Job summary

Lhshealth is seeking an RN Restorative Nurse in Parma, OH to develop and oversee the facility's Restorative Nursing Program, coordinating with therapy and nursing to maintain residents’ function and independence.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, monitor progress, and ensure CMS compliance, ultimately improving residents' quality of life and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing principles and CMS guidelines.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to educate and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee restorative nursing programs.
• Collaborate with therapy to transfer programs after discharge.
• Assess residents for restorative potential and monitor progress.
• Train and supervise restorative aides and nursing staff.
• Ensure documentation supports CMS and MDS accuracy.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Promote resident independence and person-centered care.
• Assist with survey preparation and regulatory compliance.
