Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nurse (RN) to oversee restorative nursing programs for residents in Alabama. You will coordinate care with nursing and therapy teams to maintain mobility and independence, and participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process.

The role requires an active RN license, experience with elderly populations in long-term care, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and eligible to work in the US.
• Experience with elderly or disabled populations in long-term care.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing programs and care planning.
• Strong leadership and clear communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient approach to improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee restorative nursing programs for assigned residents.
• Work with the Director of Nursing, therapy teams, and nursing staff to support restorative goals.
• Participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process related to restorative services.
• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and identify opportunities to improve mobility.
• Initiate therapy referrals and serve as liaison between therapy services and nursing staff.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust restorative programs as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on restorative care practices.
• Ensure restorative care policies and procedures are followed.
