Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Kirkwood, MO is hiring a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care (CNA) for PRN weekend coverage within a Rehabilitation Center and SNF setting.

You will work with the rehab therapy team, receive on-site restorative training, and focus on wellness programs while performing restorative tasks with patients. CNA certification is required and prior fitness experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification as CNA in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and collaborate with the therapy team to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive restorative training on site; CNA certification required.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing and splint/prosthesis care.

Education
