Job summary

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care (CNA required) to join the Rehab Therapy Team in Metropolis, IL. This full-time position offers weekend rotation and up to 40 hours per week in a rehabilitation center setting.

Responsibilities include delivering wellness programs, assisting with restorative care, and reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation. CNA certification is required; additional fitness certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer/fitness instructor (preferred).
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs with the rehab therapy team.
• Receive restorative training onsite; no prior restorative experience required.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.
