Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Killeen, TX is hiring a Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor to join the Rehab Therapy Team. This PRN weekend position focuses on delivering wellness and exercise programs to residents in a skilled nursing facility.

CNA certification is required; prior restorative experience not necessary as on-site training is provided. You will assist in restorative care and work closely with the therapy team to promote mobility, balance, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification and be eligible to practice as a CNA in the state.
• Onsite restorative care training provided; no prior restorative experience required.
• Experience with seniors is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs with the rehab therapy team.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing) as assigned.
• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work with the therapy team.
