Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Magnolia, TX is seeking a part-time Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor to join our Rehab Therapy Team. You will work up to 20 hours per week delivering wellness, fitness, and exercise programs under the guidance of the therapy staff.

No restorative experience is required; CNA certification is required. You’ll assist with restorative care activities such as ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, ROM, dressing, and prosthesis care, while benefiting from EnerG wellness programs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or health & fitness specialist is preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs in collaboration with the therapy team.
• Receive restorative training provided onsite; no restorative experience necessary.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).
