Job summary

Regency Pacific is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a temp assignment / full-time position in Washington. The CNA will provide resident care support under licensed therapists, assist with transfers, ROM exercises, and daily activities, and document resident progress in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA Certification in the state employed.
• Minimum of three months' prior Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
• Communicate observations of residents' conditions and document changes accurately.
• Sanitize whirlpools, tubs, and showers used in restorative therapy and assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Perform restorative care treatments and encourage residents to participate in daily ADL activities.
• Instruct and supervise residents during therapy and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Reassure residents before and during therapy and document responses to care.
• Ambulate residents and provide range of motion exercises according to the care plan.
