The ideal candidate holds a valid CNA certification for Washington, with six months of long-term care experience. CPR certification is preferred, and restorativ e assistant certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Restorative Assistant certification preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under the supervision of the licensed nurse, initiates rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions.
• Promotes resident independence and adapts activities to maximize functional potential.
• Documents observations and resident responses to restorative care per policies.
• Assists with ROM, transfer, bed mobility, walking, dressing/grooming, and feeding.
• Instructs residents on use of assistive devices for mobility and self-care.
• Maintains proper turning, positioning, and device care; reports changes to supervisor.
