Job summary

PACS in San Diego is seeking a certified nursing assistant to assist residents with mobility, transfers, hygiene, and daily activities. You will support therapy exercises, maintain charts, and communicate changes to nursing leadership in a respectful, professional manner.

Qualifications include a CNA certificate, Restorative Aide Training, CPR, and at least one year in long-term care preferred. This is an on-site role with benefits and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Restorative Aide Training are required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with exercises to improve or maintain mobility and independence.
• Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and range of motion.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, nails, hair, and hygiene.
• Assist with elimination and sanitary needs (bedpans, urinals, commodes).
• Complete charting of care and report changes to nursing staff.
