Gig Harbor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Restorative Aide to join our team in providing patient-centered care that promotes mobility, strength, and independence for residents.

The role requires a current CNA license, a high school diploma, and experience in long-term care or rehabilitation. You will collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to implement restorative plans and educate residents and families on rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous long-term care or rehab experience preferred.
• Experience with restorative therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor individualized restorative care plans.
• Assist residents with prescribed restorative exercises.
• Assess residents and report changes to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with therapists and nursing staff for coordinated care.
• Document restorative activities and resident progress accurately.
• Educate residents and families on restorative goals and exercises.
• Encourage independence in ADLs while ensuring safety.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility tasks.
• Maintain safety and infection-control compliance.
