The Center for Youth Services, Inc. in New York seeks a Behavior Intervention Specialist to partner with schools to realize youth potential by delivering restorative-based support.

This 11-month, full-time position overlaps with the school day and may involve evenings or weekends to support events. You will oversee program operations, collect outcome data, and provide monthly reports to the Director of School Based Programs while coordinating prevention education and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field AND 1-3 years' related experience.
• Equivalent combination / Master's Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers, coordinates and oversees program (on-site).
• Works with School Administrators to ensure needs-based services.
• Attend School Support Service meetings and deliver restorative-based system.
• Creates and oversees data collection and program evaluation processes.
• Provides monthly reports to Director of School Based Programs.
• Outreach and information dissemination; coordination of Prevention Education services.
• Immediate response and support; asset development activities.
• Alternatives to suspension services and transitional services.
• Agency ambassador and liaison at meetings, health fairs.
