Job summary

Raintree Village is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to join our team in providing direct care to nursing home residents, following restorative nursing policies and procedures.

This role may help with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks, with shifts including 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, and 10pm-6:30am; full-time and part-time openings are available, with some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license and be in acceptable standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience in restorative nursing and resident care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with progressive range of motion exercises and mobility, including bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing and walking.
• Assist residents with progressive eating during breakfast and lunch.
• Assist residents with progressive bathing and dressing.
• Assist and teach residents in progressive grooming.
• Take and record vital signs according to schedule and during restorative activities.
• Document progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor; participate on committees as needed.
• Work closely with the physical therapy department.
• Document all restorative tasks in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens and infection control.
• Provide care per the restorative aide assignment sheet.

Shifts:In general we offer 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts for our Restorative Aide/CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions. Expect some weekend shifts, usually every other weekend.

Days: 6am-2:30 pm
Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm
Nights: 10pm-6:30am

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to join our team! This position provides direct care to nursing home residents, in accordance with restorative nursing policies and procedures. May help with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.

• Works closely with the physical therapy department.
• Documents all restorative tasks in the electronic medical record
• Assures personal and staff compliance to all state and federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
• Assures personal and staff compliance to residents’ rights.
• Provides care in accordance with the restorative aide assignment sheet.
