Job summary

Westchester Village in Lenexa, KS seeks a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to provide direct care to residents, following restorative nursing policies and procedures. The role involves assisting with mobility, hygiene, meals, and daily activities while promoting residents' well-being.

Responsibilities include vital signs, EMR documentation, and close collaboration with the physical therapy team. Must hold an active CNA license and comply with regulations; benefits and a team-focused environment

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license and be in acceptable standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience in restorative nursing is preferred.
• Comfort with documenting resident progress in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with progressive ROM exercises and mobility tasks.
• Assist with progressive eating during meals and with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Take and record vital signs according to schedule and as needed.
• Document progress and communicate with charge nurses and supervisor.
• Collaborate with physical therapy and maintain restorative task records in EMR.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and residents' rights.
