Job summary

Pivotal Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Raintree Village, Lees Summit, MO. CNAs provide hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting, supporting daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• The CNA must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations.
• Must meet statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Complete documentation of resident care.
• Follow safety policies to ensure resident safety.
• Adhere to the Community's policies and procedures.
• Participate in facility meetings and in-service trainings.
• Follow infection control guidelines.

Shifts: In general we offer 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

Days: 6am-2:30 pm or 6am-6:30pm

Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm

Nights: 10pm-6:30am or 6pm-6:30am

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands‑on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well‑being possible.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds The Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
• Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in‑service training programs as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
• Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Qualifications

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.
