Job summary

Raintree Village in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. The CNA will provide direct, hands-on care to residents, helping with daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety in a skilled nursing environment.

We offer varied shifts (4, 8, 12 hours) including days, evenings, and nights, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Eligible candidates must complete approved CNA training and pass competency exams; together

Qualifications

• Completed an approved CNA training program.
• Passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge.
• Meets statutory requirements for Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds the Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
• Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
• Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Shifts: In general we offer 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.
Days: 6am-2:30 pm or 6am-6:30pm
Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm
Nights: 10pm-6:30am or 6pm-6:30am

Role
