Raintree Village in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to provide direct care to residents, following restorative nursing policies. This role supports mobility, self-care, and daily activities while ensuring safety and quality of care.

The position offers 4–8–12 hour shifts with a mix of full-time and part-time options, and opportunities to grow within a welcoming, employee-focused community.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license in acceptable standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with progressive range of motion exercises and mobility.
• Assist residents with progressive eating during meals.
• Assist residents with bathing and dressing.
• Assist and teach residents in grooming.
• Take and record vital signs and report progress to nursing staff.
• Document restorative tasks in the electronic medical record and coordinate with therapy.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and residents' rights.

Shifts and Days

Shifts:In general we offer 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts for our Restorative Aide/CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions. Expect some weekend shifts, usually every other weekend.

Days: 6am-2:30 pm
Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm
Nights: 10pm-6:30am

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to join our team! This position provides direct care to nursing home residents, in accordance with restorative nursing policies and procedures. May help with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents doing progressive range of motion exercises and progressive mobility, to include but not be limited to bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing, and walking.
• Assist residents in progressive eating, during breakfast and lunch.
• Assists residents in progressive bathing and dressing.
• Assists and teaches residents in progressive grooming.
• Takes and records vital signs of residents according to facility schedule and policies, and during restorative activities.
• Documents and/or reports information regarding the residents’ progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor. This may include participation on committees as needed.
• Works closely with the physical therapy department.
• Documents all restorative tasks in the electronic medical record
• Assures personal and staff compliance to all state and federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
• Assures personal and staff compliance to residents’ rights.
• Provides care in accordance with the restorative aide assignment sheet.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license and be in acceptable standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
