Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group is hiring a Restorative Aide - CNA at Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT. This is a full-time position with shifts available. Local candidates or those planning to relocate are welcome.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with rehabilitation goals, leading group exercise sessions, and coordinating with nursing and therapy teams. CNA certification and one year experience required; English reading/writing is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nursing assistant in good standing with the state.
• Must have one year experience as a CNA.
• Must read, write and follow directions in English.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background/reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities.
• Manage and teach exercise activities to groups of residents.
• Coordinate with nursing and therapy teams for interdepartmental communication.
• Document resident exercise treatments.
• Assist scheduling and floor coverage as needed (approx. 50%).
• Support staffing data gathering and performance metrics.
• Contribute to team education and oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities
• Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents
• Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy
• Documentation of resident exercise treatments
• W ill serve in assistant role to staffing coordinator approximately 50% of the time
• Assisting with CNA scheduling and floor coverage
• Assist with gathering staffing and performance data
• Assist with team education and oversight

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
• Must have one year experience working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA)
• Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Recent education or clinical hours are required.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry
• Experience with fitness instruction is preferred
