Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group's Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, Utah is hiring a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. The position pays $18.00-$23.50 per hour, with full-time and on-call options, in a supportive work environment.

You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, compassionate care environment. Must hold an active CNA license, meet state requirements, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
• Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
• Interdepartmental communications within care team
