Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Assist residents with exercises and activities to improve their strength, mobility, and coordination.
• Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to perform daily activities.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document residents' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents and their families.
