Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group's Mervyn Sharp Bennion Veterans Home in Payson, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Pay is $20.00–$23.21 per hour, with full-time NOC 6p-6a and PM 3:30-11pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
• Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Recent education or clinical hours are required.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
• Interdepartmental communications within care team
