Job summary

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is hiring a dedicated Non-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. The role offers $15.00 per hour for full-time and on-call positions, with an extended orientation and supportive preceptor.

You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, promoting compassionate care and a positive environment. Qualifications include completion of a Nurse Assistant Training program and certification within 120 days

Qualifications

• Completed a Nurse Assistant Training; Certificate required
• Must obtain CNA Certification within 120 days of hire
• Must meet health regulations, pass background checks and references

Responsibilities

• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure
• Ambulate residents
• Apply proper lifting and transferring techniques
• Provide proper positioning and use of postural supports
• Maintain residents' positioning, as needed
• Weigh residents on schedule and record weights accurately
• Directly respond to needs and concerns of residents and family members
• Work with the care giving team to identify and resolve resident and family issues
• Establish effective communication with residents and families
• Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and social needs

Full time and On-Call Positions available

Extended Orientation Period with Exceptional Preceptor

The Non-Certified Nurse Assistants will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Qualifications:

Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.

Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-employment physical exam, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
