Job summary

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT, is recruiting a dedicated Non-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We offer full-time and on-call positions with extended orientation and a supportive preceptor.

The CNA will perform direct resident care under licensed supervision, fostering a compassionate environment for residents. Must complete a Nurse Assistant Training program and obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completed a Nurse Assistant Training; Certificate required
• Must obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 120-days of hire
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-employment physical exam, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
• Ambulate residents.
• Apply proper lifting and transferring techniques.
• Provide proper positioning and use of postural supports.
• Maintain residents’ positioning, as needed.
• Weigh residents on schedule and record weights accurately.
• Directly respond, within the scope of practice, to needs and concerns of residents and family members.
• Work with the care giving team to identify and resolve resident and family issues.
• Establish effective communication/interactions with residents and families.
• Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and meeting the residents’ needs for socialization.
