Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Restorative Aide team. You will coordinate and deliver restorative nursing care to residents under the rehab and nursing teams.

Key duties include overseeing restorative programs, guiding transitions from skilled rehab to restorative plans, maintaining progress notes, and visiting residents daily to ensure program productivity.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with experience and/or knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy/procedures.
• Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public.

Responsibilities

Shift:

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Overview of the Restorative Aide Role:

As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in coordinating, implementing, and providing restorative nursing care for all residents. Working under the direction of the rehabilitation and nursing departments, you'll be responsible for maximizing and maintaining the physical functioning and emotional wellness of our residents. Your additional responsibilities include:

• - Overseeing, directing, and participating in restorative programs for individual residents.
• - Facilitating the transition of residents from skilled rehab services to restorative progressive and preventative programs.
• - Maintaining restorative nursing progress/documentation records for all participating residents.
